Description

We need a long-term, dedicated Household Manager/Personal Assistant in San Rafael. This role is Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and will require you work from the client's home. This candidate must be familiar with PC, Google Suite and Office suite programs. Candidate should be very comfortable using excel for project management, is tech-savvy and can learn software easily. Candidate will be responsible for handling travel arrangements, maintaining household supplies and inventory, household organization, project research and running occasional errands.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years working in a private home in a similar position

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English

• Ability and willingness to make a long-term commitment; looking for stability
• Detail oriented and very organized
• Punctual and reliable
• Strong sense of discretion and willing to sign a confidentiality agreement
• Ability to work in a home with a dog
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record, car can be provided for use not the job.

Responsibilities

• Ordering household and personal supplies
• Booking travel and cultural involvements
• Research for various projects and purchases, including but not limited lo van and car equipment and community/nonprofit involvement
• Household and office organization
• Putting into place all household and vehicle/van maintenance schedules, and keeping up to dale
• Schedule and manage all household vendors
• Work closely with other onsite and offsite house staff on various projects
• Filing and household administrative duties, responsible for all household paperwork
• Organizing of files and putting systems into place, getting rid of outdated paperwork
• Correspondence and emails
• Light errands; post office weekly and occasional others
• Organizing personal entertainment; reservations, event planning, itineraries
• Keep daily log of duties and debrief with client daily
• Digital organization and labeling of photos and videos

• Love of multi-tasking; quick and efficient
• Technically astute and computer oriented; PC laptop for use on the job
