Aunt Ann's In-House Staffing
Executive Assistants
What is an Executive Assistant and what are their responsibilities?
An Executive Assistant works directly with the CEO or other top level executives in a corporation. Professionalism, proper business protocol and a team player attitude are all integral parts of the job. They must possess exceptional written and communication skills, be a problem solver, extremely organized, and be flexible to many changes during the business day.
A successful Executive Assistant is proficient in computer operation, handling phones, multiple calendars, maintaining the database, complicated travel arrangements, coordinating meetings, creating presentation packages, preparing for trade show and other events, and drafting correspondence. Their job may encompass handling all emails, mail, and voicemails: recording, answering and tracking the detailed information. This position can also be asked to handle tasks for their boss’s personal life; hiring staff, handling construction projects, art acquisitions, and movement, personal finances and portfolio maintenance, philanthropic endeavors, family travel arrangements, event planning and even simple errands.
