With Summer just around the corner, we’ve put together a list of our top picks for camps and classes in the Bay Area. You’ll find plenty of virtual activities as well as a few in-person activities with smaller class sizes and even personalized at-home adventures!

 

Pre-K / In-Home
Our friends at Nanny Care Hub are providing a weekly newsletter for nannies with a detailed framework for creating their own camp experience at home! Nannies will receive a supplies list for easy shopping, weekly themes ready to go right out of the box, and a variety of theme-related activities they can customize to meet the unique needs of their kids.

Voted Bay Area Parent Best Technology Camp 2019, TechKnowHow offers LEGO® Building, Robotics and Coding camps featuring STEM LEGO® projects, Minecraft adventures, Python and Java Coding, and a Girls STEAM camp. Teachers connect with your child and talk them through LEGO design and building challenges while coding camp instructors explain concepts and help teens master coding.
Ages 4-9 / In-Home
Home-to-Home Camps will be offered by delivering a Rabbit Hole Bunny Box to your door filled with craft projects, props, set pieces and everything your child will need to build an exciting show. This package also include a camp schedule, daily morning zoom class, recorded puppet shows, and a dance routine in addition to a pre-recorded narration of the final show that will feel like old world radio meets a make-believe podcast adventure to really spark your kiddo’s imagination and guide them through a theatrical performance at home!

 Whether your kids are into baking, international cuisine, culinary essentials, or cooking challenges, Cucina Bambini has something for all ages! From baking cakes to rolling pasta to making sushi, credentialed teachers will teach your children how to navigate the kitchen independently! Cucina Bambini will be offering smaller classes (max 12 students) beginning June 15.

Camp at Home brings one full-time instructor exclusively to you for the week! This week-long camp will conveniently take place in your home and surrounding neighborhood trails & parks. Whether it’s just your kids, or you pair up with another neighborhood family, this gives you the opportunity to have complete control of the campers in your group.
Your instructor will be with you all week, building on the previous day’s lessons to boost your child’s confidence with topics like: navigation, shelter building, outdoor cooking, wildlife education, and so much more! Avid 4 Adventure is also offering online day camps and small group adventures.
Ages 5+ / San Jose, CA
Parkour camps feature parkour training for all skill levels, fun obstacle courses, engaging challenges, jumping on a trampoline and flying into a real life stunt bag! Parkour training teaches any one who practices that through effort, persistence, and steady progression anything is possible. Sessions Academy is offering smaller classes up to 12 students.
