One of our favorite households is seeking to hire a new PRIVATE CHEF for Monday to Thursday Dinners at 6pm. The family seeks a chef who will prepare dinner nightly. There will be some additional meal preparation as the chef will be responsible for preparing a travel lunch for children's school and stocking the refrigerator and pantry.
The family does not have any allergies but has a preference for organic farm to table produce and low fat, low-carb dishes. The ideal chef will love to cook Asian dishes ( Chinese, Thai, Korean, Japanese) and Mediterranean cuisines.
This is a long term part time position offering a Personal Chef an opportunity to have stable employment 4 days a week: Monday to Thursday. The last chef was employed over 5 years and worked an average of 24 hours a week. When the family travels the Chef is not required to travel with them.
Experience Requirements
-2 years minimum cooking for private households is required
Educational Requirements
-Must read, write and read English
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and Car to get to and from work and for minimal shopping
- Must be able to pass an independent background check
-Must be willing to sign a NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT.
Responsibilities
. Prepare plated dinner 3 to 4 nights a week
. Prepare lunches for children to take to school
. Prepare healthy snacks and breakfast mix weekly
. Keep the kitchen/pantry organized and clean
. Prepare meals for other days as requested
